Well up until today it felt like Spring was here! Last weekend was spent in the MH at Carsington Water in the breezy but sunny countryside. Even Sacha managed the 8.5 miles around the water with the necessary pub lunch at the Miner's Arms half way round. The site is a Caravan Club one and is very convenient for accessing the tracks with great views across the valley. Carsington is a lovely place with something for everyone........walking, cycling, fishing, water sports, birdwatching and much more.
Blooms are appearing in the garden from the brash pink Camellia flowers to the subtle anemone that has popped up in my garlic bed. The daffodils are nearly bursting their buds and the fritillaries and scillias are nearly ready to flower.
On Friday I am off up to bonny Scotland to Loch Awe and then over to Mull with my sister in her VW camper - snow permitting!
Today was spent with my Mum and eldest daughter shopping and exploring Chesterfield town centre and having a leisurely lunch - very much needed therapy.
Happy Spring everyone.

I love Camellia's too - I've got a few - never thought of taking a picture of them -but noticed they were in flower at the weekend. Sounds a though you had a really nice day with Sarah and you mum. Have a great time in Scotland - loomking forward to you blogging your photo's best wishes Lesley x
